Free-scoring Swifts can't find a way past Witham
The free-scoring run of Heybridge Swifts in Ryman League division one north was brought to a shudderin halt by Witham Town at Spa Road.
Having seen Swifts put six goals past Ilford and 11 past Redbridge since early December and four past Waltham Abbey the previous week, Witham stood strong in defence to hold the visitors to a 0-0 draw.
Witham stayed ninth in the table after the draw and now host Aveley at Spa Road on Tuesday.
