Garry Kimble wants his Witham Town players to earn the right to get a victory as they head to Ware in the Ryman League division one north tomorrow.
The Town manager felt some hadn’t done that in the 2-1 defeat against league leaders Maldon and Tiptree on New Year’s Day and is demanding more as they head to a team who are third from bottom in the table.
Kimble said: “We have to bounce back now and we have Ware on Saturday, which won’t be easy.
“You have to earn the right to compete in this league and I thought we did that in the first half at Maldon, but a few let themselves down in the second.”
The Town boss said midfielder Lewis Godbold would be missing as he completes his suspension for a red card at AFC Sudbury.
Striker John Watson is still unavailable through personal commitments, but defender Richard Manning will return to contention after missing the game at Maldon.
