Braintree Town's FA Cup first round proper game against Tranmere Rovers will be shown live on television.

The game will be played on Sunday, November 4, kicking-off at 12.30pm and will be screened live on ITV.

Chairman Lee Harding said: "We are all pleased to get through to the FA Cup with Budweiser First Round Proper and to have such a high profile fixture, live on ITV, really is exciting for our club.

"It's what the Cup is all about!"

Having the game live on television will bring additional revenue for the club, with manager Alan Devonshire set to benefit from the extra revenue coming into his playing budget.

Further details about segregation, ticketing and parking for the match will be announced over the next few days.
