DEVIANT AMPS are a 3-piece, original, indie psychedelic rock band who have built up a good live reputation. They came together as a three piece in the spring of 2006.
They released an ep, "Giving It All Away", in the summer of 2006. Two songs from this ep, “Give It All Away” and "If You Got Yours, I've Got Mine", went to number 1 in internet charts.
In the past the band have played on the same bill as The Damned, John Otway, Newtown Neurotics, Hot Chip, Neville Staples, Geno Washington, Zion Train, Pronghorn, Invisible Opera, The Sweet, The Hollies and The Wurzels among others.
The bands album DEVIANCY AMPLIFICATION SPIRAL was releasd in May 2008 and is available to download from i-tunes or Amazon now.
Deviant Amps will be playing dates throughout 2010 and released a download only cover of Walking In The Air in December 2009.
DEVIANT AMPS are currently writing and rehearsing some new material and hope to start work on recording a second album with a view to a 2010 release date soon.
