Man hurled into Gloucester Park lake in random attack

A MAN was thrown into the lake at Gloucester Park in an unprovoked, random attack.

The victim, a 23-year-old man from Basildon, was standing by the lake in the park in Basildon enjoying the sunshine when the attack happened.

Suddenly, without warning, the victim, a student, was approached by a man who pushed him into the water.

Witnesses to the attack, which happened at 6.30pm on Wednesday May 23, can contact police at Basildon on 101.

I was followed by a man who come out of the bushes he scared the living daylights out of me, i felt uneasy and scared.. I contacted the police who had many calls about this man that day....they never found him.....that was the 22nd may......was this the same man???? i wont go over the that nice park now ....which is a shame....
I have a description of him and so do the police.....
but there is not a lot of info on this story the poor man who got pushed in the lake is lucky to be alive and it could happen to someone else...

its not really an attack as such, he was pushed into water, albeit he could have drowned if a non swimmer, it was a rotten prank that maybe did scare the victim, maybe the perp though the guy looked hot, i dont believe there was any malice in this, but it must have made the fellow bemused ,and wet to boot, also it said he was ''thrown'' and ''pushed'', there lies the difference

Okay i took you advice and went for a swim in said park lake but couldn't stay long, only wallowed for a minute or two when i was approached by a couple who shrieked at me "Get out of the lake! Think about the ducks"
