Man hurled into Gloucester Park lake in random attack

A MAN was thrown into the lake at Gloucester Park in an unprovoked, random attack.
The victim, a 23-year-old man from Basildon, was standing by the lake in the park in Basildon enjoying the sunshine when the attack happened.
Suddenly, without warning, the victim, a student, was approached by a man who pushed him into the water.
Witnesses to the attack, which happened at 6.30pm on Wednesday May 23, can contact police at Basildon on 101.
