A BUDDING young actor has appeared in an advert alongside Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton.

Harry Heels, eight, of Laindon, was chosen from thousands of other youngsters to star in the advert for the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé car.

Harry, who is signed up to Daisy and Dukes agency in London, has starred in a number of other adverts, including Asda’s Back to School campaign, and also interviewed Love Island’s Iain Stirling on Capital FM.

His mum, Lauren, said: “It was amazing.

“We got picked up by a chauffeured car and Harry said he felt like a celebrity.

“We filmed at a mansion in Surrey.

“Lewis Hamilton was there for a few hours.

“I thought Lewis would be a bit quiet but he was really good with the kids and talked to them.

“Harry was kept behind to do a scene in the car and Lewis had a radio which he let Harry play with and do funny voices down it.

“Harry isn’t shy at all but I was gobsmacked to meet Lewis.”

Harry, a pupil at Greensted Infant School, Basildon, said: “Lewis was really nice and kind.

“I really, really liked him.

“I like to see myself on the televisions - I feel like a VIP.”

Harry, who has an older brother Archie, nine, is hoping to become an actor or a West End star when he is older.

His mum said: “He loves singing and he dances all the time.”
