Police have confirmed the death of a man in Southend town centre is not being treated as suspicious.
A large police cordon was in police from the early hours of this morning after a man, in his 30s, was found unconscious near the Job Centre in Tylers Avenue at about 3.30am.
The man was rushed to hospital but sadly died.
Forensic teams were on scene investigating the circumstances leading to his death and police have now confirmed it is being treated as non-suspicious.
A file will be prepared for the coroner and an inquest will be held at a later date.
