A third man has been charged with murder and attempted robbery after a fatal stabbing in Southend on Monday.
Joe Paffey, 20, of Old Southend Road, Southend, is due to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court today in connection with the death of Fabian Kacica, 19, of Lornes Close, Southend.
Mr Kacica died from a single stab wound following a disturbance in Farringdon Service Road, close to The Forum in Southend town centre.
Two other men have also been charged with murder in connection with the death, Michael Nyathi, 18, of Steeplefield, Leigh-on-Sea, and a 17-year-old boy from Shoeburyness who cannot be named for legal reasons.
They appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Thursday, May 17, and have been remanded to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court today.
A 20-year-old man from Leigh-on-Sea was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday, and remains in police custody.
