A fourth man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of Fabian Kacica.

A 20-year-old man from Leigh-on-Sea was arrested yesterday and is in police custody following the fatal stabbing of the 19-year-old, of Lornes Close, Southend, in Farringdon Service Road, Southend, on Monday night outside the Forum in Southend town centre.

Two men, 18-year-old Michael Nyathi of Steeplefield, Leigh and a 17-year-old boy from Shoebury who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been arrested and charged with murder.

They appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court yesterday and were remanded into custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court today.

A 20-year-old from Southend, arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday remains in custody for questioning.

Essex Police will hold a public meeting tomorrow alongside their partners following the death of Mr Kacica, which will take place at The Forum, in Elmer Avenue, at 12pm.

The meeting will include representative from Southend Council, other community figures, and senior officers from Essex Police.

A peace march is taking place following the meeting at 1pm.
