Police have charged a man with wounding with intent following reports of stabbing at a marina on Canvey yesterday.
Gary Cogman, 62, of Haven Road, Canvey, has been remanded in custody to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Essex Police received calls at around 3.10pm after man suffered wounds to hands, back and shoulder at Smallgains Marina, in Point Road.
Officers arrived at the scene armed with a Taser and quickly apprehended a man.
The victim, a man aged in his 40s, was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
