EastEnders star Rudolph Walker, who plays Patrick Trueman in the TV soap, is visiting Eastgate shopping centre on Saturday to meet fans.

Rudolph will be signing autographs in Sport & Star Autographs in Eastgate’s Lower Gallery from 1pm.

Rudolph has long been a favourite on British TVs since the early 70s when his appeared in Love Thy Neighbour. He has also appeared in The Thin Blue Line and King Ralph. Other notable roles include performances in Doctor Who, the first episode of On the Buses and Mr Bean.

He is probably best known for the EastEnders character Patrick Trueman which he has played since 2001. He is one of the longest serving members of the cast and was awarded the OBE in the 2006 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
