Dogs Trust Basildon is hoping that this St Patrick's Day will prove lucky for Clover, a four-year-old Labrador Cross who is looking for her forever home.

Clover is a big hit with her canine carers at the centre but after being with them for more than 600 days, they would love for the luck of the Irish to be on her side and for someone to come forward as her perfect owner.

The team say that she needs to be the only pet in an experienced adult only home but loves affection and is always up for a cuddle.

She can be worried by people she doesn't know so would benefit from a rural home with a smaller sized family or a single person.
