TONIGHT you can join Sundown Arts organisation celebrate spoken word and performance poetry from all over the UK.
Southend poets alongside established national spoken-word artists from further afield, will be plotting up at Chalkwell Hall in Westcliff to enthral an intimate audience.
I Am Looking For Words from Sundown Arts comes as part of Metal Arts' Pop Up Writers House, in conjunction with the Essex Book Festival.
The bill includes Matt Abbott, Molly Naylor, Rachel Pantechnicon and Simon Blackman!
Spoken word-themed DJ sets will also be provided from Michael Webster of BAIT/Asylums/Cool Thing Records along with DJs from Junkshop Jukebox and Library of Aethers shows on Ship Full of Bombs Radio.
The night will be hosted as always by the Sundown poets and curators, Jo Overfield and Ray Morgan.
It starts at 7:30pm - 10:30pm at the base situated in Chalkwell Hall.
