People living and working in the Thurrock District who have an interest in community safety matters are invited to a public meeting being held by Roger Hirst, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex.

It is being held at the Aveley Methodist Church in Shannon Way, Aveley, RM15 4LU, on Monday, January 29, between 6.30pm and 8pm.

Details of current crime trends and ongoing operations will be discussed at the meeting. People going along can also ask questions and raise any concerns.

Roger Hirst said: “I welcome the opportunity to meet with local residents and I would urge anybody who wants to have their say on community safety issues in the area to come along.”
