A restaurant in Chelmsford was robbed by two men who are believed to have been armed with a gun.
Two men are reported to have entered the Green Chilli takeaway in Robin Way at around 9.15pm yesterday and demanded cash from the staff - leaving with less than £100.
Police officers attended the scene but were unable to locate the suspects.
They are now appealing for information following this incident.
The first suspect has been described as being white, around 5ft 8ins tall, of a skinny build and clean shaven.
The second suspect has been described as being white, of a medium build and under 5ft 8ins.
They were both aged in their 20s, wore hoodies with the hoods covering their faces and gloves.
