Motor accident in Southend town
A car crash has occured in the middle of Southend, causing delays.
It was reported to have happened along Queensway close to the Kwikfit where the roundabout joins London Road.
The incident has now cleared.
A spokesperson for East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 9:20 to an incident in London Road, Southend. We sent two ambulances to a road traffic collision.
"A man in his thirties, who was conscious and breathing, has been taken to hospital.
"A woman, who was of an unknown age, was taken to hospital for precautionary checks."
