Two men arrested following collision which killed two women and left another in a critical condition
Two men have been arrested following a collision that caused the death of two women in Lower Dunton Road, Stanford-le-Hope, yesterday.
A 23-year-old man from Tilbury and a 22-year-old man from Basildon have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
They remain in police custody.
An 84-year-old woman remains at Addenbrookes hospital and is currently in a critical but stable condition.
