A THUG who attacked a teenage girl in his car has been told to complete his jail term after he tried to appeal the sentence.
Connor Martin, 20, of Mynchens, Laindon, was locked up for five years at Basildon Crown Court in July last year after he admitted kidnapping, assault, using threatening behaviour with a bladed article, as well as multiple driving offences.
Condemned as a dangerous offender, he was also ordered to serve an extra three years on licence after his release.
On October 27, 2015, Martin was driving along London Road, Pitsea ,when he pulled alongside the victim and asked her to get into his car.
The 16-year-old got in but left the door open so she could get out quickly.
However, Martin sped off and began violently attacking his terrified victim - even letting go of the steering wheel to hit her in the head and face.
Martin’s case was reviewed at the Appeal Court after challenged his sentence, but the judge dismissed his appeal.
