POLICE are trying to track down a teenager who stabbed a man in the stomach outside his home.
The 53-year-old man was attacked at about 9.30am yesterday after he was approached by a boy outside his home near Monastery Road in Laindon.
The boy was described as white, and in his late teens, wearing a dark blue hoody.
He then stabbed the victim, who suffered an injury to the abdomen. It is thought the suspect then made off on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and is in a stable condition.
Police believe this to be an isolated incident.
