Camper van engulfed with flames causes temporary road closure
A CAMPER van engulfed with flames has caused chaos on a main Chelmsford road.
Firefighters were called to a campervan alight on the A130 southbound between Howe Green and the Rettendon Turnpike at 1.30pm on Saturday March 25.
The road was shut temporarily so crews from Basildon and Chelmsford could deal with the incident safely.
The fire, which was extinguished by 2pm, has been recorded as accidental.
