YOUNGSTERS were introduced to Peppa Pig at a special half-term fun event.

Leigh Community Centre in Elm Road organised the fun day to help occupy children during the week-long holiday.

The centre welcomed Jolly Kids Castles which brought along a range of fun inflatables.

Parents got a breather while youngsters enjoyed four sessions including a 27ft obstacle course, Peppa Pig bouncy castle, and a Peppa Pig soft play area.

The event catered for children aged up to seven throughout the day.

Peppa Pig put in an appearance at at two under-five sessions much to the delight of youngsters.

The centre also held another of its popular Art Ministry events.

Children were able to take part in a range of arts and crafts in two-hour sessions.

The £4 entrance for the sessions were donated back to the Art Ministry charity.

A spokeswoman for the centre said: “As part of Leigh Community Centre’s ongoing commitment to providing fun and affordable activities during the school holidays, a programme of events was organised.”
