HIGHWAYS England has announced roadworks and some closures in Thurrock including the Dartford Crossing.

M25 junctions 31 Lakeside to 30

Work to improve journeys by carrying out technology work continues. The anti-clockwise carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday January 9 for five nights. Work on Friday will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 31 link road to junction 30.

Work on Friday will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via junction 30 and return.

The QEII Bridge will have three, of four lanes closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday January 9 for five nights. Work on Friday will start at 11pm.

A1089 Tilbury Essex horticulture work

Work to improve journeys by carrying out horticulture work will start. The northbound exit and entry slip roads for the A126 Grays will be closed overnight, between 11pm and 5am, on Friday January 13. A clearly signed diversion will be in place for the exit slip road via the A13 eastbound to the Brentwood (A128) junction and return. A clearly signed diversion will be in place for the entry slip road via the A126, Calcutta Road, A1089 to the Dock Road roundabout.
