A MAN who was found carrying a knife at Southend Victoria train station has been jailed for ten weeks.
George Tonner, 31, admitted having the knife with him on September 9.
Southend Magistrates’ Court jailed him for eight weeks, with an extra two weeks because he was already serving a suspended sentence at the time.
Tonner, of Hargood Close, Colchester, was also ordered to a pay a £115 victim surcharge and the knife was destroyed.
