Castle Point district residents can have their say on crime and community safety issues with their new Police and Crime Commissioner as he hosts his first public meeting in the district.
Roger Hirst will hold the meeting in Canvey Island on Tuesday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, and residents from across the district are invited to attend.
The PCC will be joined by Castle Point and Rochford District Commander Chief Inspector Glen Westley and the community safety team from Castle Point district council.
The meeting will take place at the War Memorial Hall, High Street, Canvey.
A public briefing document, outlining crime trends and community safety information will be handed out at the meeting itself and will be available on the PCC website a few days before the meeting.
Roger Hirst, police and crime commissioner for Essex, said: "I welcome the opportunity to meet with local residents and I urge everyone who wants to have their say on crime and policing related issues in the district to come along.”
