A RAYLEIGH playing field has been awarded Green Flag status for the fourth successive year.
King George V Playing Field, in Bull Lane, Rayleigh, is among a record-breaking 1,686 parks and green spaces which have received a prestigious Green Flag Award.
The award recognises and rewards the best parks and green spaces across the country.
Dave Sperring, chairman of King George V Playing Field Committee, said: “We are delighted to receive a Green Flag Award for fourth time.”
