Long tailbacks on the M25 in Essex heading towards Dartford Crossing
AN ACCIDENT near the Dartford Crossing is causing huge tailbacks on the clockwise section of the M25.
A crash on the Kent side of the motorway has shut a lane and is causing long queues back into Essex.
Traffic is at a standstill close to the junction with the A127.

At about 6.15pm, Highways England reported recovery trucks were on their way to clear the scene of the accident.
