Firefighters tackle blaze at motor research centre
FIREFIGHTERS were called to extinguish a blaze at a motor research unit.
Four crews were called to Ford's Dunton Technical Centre, in West Mayne, Dunton, shortly before 10am today.
An Essex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire by 10:43am.
"A ventilation fan was also used to clear the building of smoke.
"The building’s sprinkler system activated, helping control the spread of the fire."
