Fire crews were called to Mollands in Vange
FIRE crews were called to deal with a fire in a washing machine at a home in Vange yesterday evening.
The incident happened in Mollands, Vange at 10pm, but the blaze did not spread to the rest of the home and the family living there were able to evacuate themselves.
Crews from Basildon were called and put dry powder on the washing machine.
They were at the scene for 30 minutes
