WRESTLING stars are coming to Grays next week.

Headlining the grappling night at the Civic Hall will be LDN British Champion Alan Lee Travis and former WWE wrestler Joe E Legend.

Also appearing are selfprofessed sadist and violent man of mystery the Dark Lord, Northern Irish heartthrob Flex, former TNA wrestler Jigsaw, the Duke of London Jonathan Hardwick, American sensation MV Young and more.

Blending the glitz and glamour of American sports entertainment with traditional British wrestling, LDN has been running shows for 12 years.

Head coach at LDN’s training school, Alan Lee Travis, and one of the hottest British wrestling prospects, said: “It’s always an honour to defend the LDN title in front of our great fans.

“I’m looking forward to getting to Grays and giving them a match to remember.”

The Dark Lord said: “I’ve wrestled all around the world and came to LDN because I’ve heard this is where the real competition is.

“Forget about beating me, there’s nobody who can even last five minutes in the ring with me and it’s going to be no different at the Thurrrock Civic Hall. If my opponent has any brains, they won’t even turn up.”

LDN has filmed several episodes of the revamped series of classic British TV institution World of Sport, which will air on ITV later in 2016.

Its Thurrock show is one of a run across the country, from South Shields to Cornwall, as well as events in Scotland and Wales, bringing the best of British wrestling to tens of thousands of enthusiastic, energetic fans.
