Top hats – guild members show off their Ascot-inspired finery
THE Springhouse Co-operative Women’s Guild enjoyed an Ascot themed cream tea.
A competition was held and a prize was given to the member with the best-made hat.
The proceeds of the raffle will go to Macmillan Nurses, which is the guild’s chosen charity of the year.
Guild member Pauline Wooffitt said: “Delicious scones, jam and cream were served and all the ladies had a lovely time.”
