POLICE have released three youths on police bail as part of an investigation into a break-in at a Canvey cafe.
The boys, two aged 14 and one aged 15, and all from Basildon, were question on suspicion of burglary and released pending further inquiries until July 30.
Officiers were called to the Blue Cafe in Canvey High Street at 4am on May 26, after cash, and food and drink worth £800 was stolen.
Police are also investigating reports of two other attempted burglaries which occurred last weekend on Canvey.
Kinks hairdressers, in Maurice Road, and Prima Dance, in Canvey Road, both suffered damage to their doors, but no entry was gained to the premises.
Nothing was stolen from either premises.
