AN electrician has been taken to hospital after suffering an electric shock while working at a house in Hullbridge.
The ambulance service received a call at 12.54pm today to Kendal Close, Hullbridge.
A community first responder, an ambulance crew and ambulance officer attended to a workman – a man in his 30s – who had suffered an electric shock.
The man was conscious and breathing, but was suffering from shortness of breath and pins and needles when paramedics arrived.
He was taken to Southend University Hospital for further treatment.
His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
