THE Rat Pack are swinging into town with an all-star lineup to pay tribute to the crooners of yesteryear.

The three toe-tappers, plus special guest star Kenny Lynch, will be singing hit songs and anthems including Come Fly With Me, the Lady is a Tramp, My Way, Strangers in the Night and the classic New York, New York.

Lead singer David Alacey has been described by Vegas legend Buddy Greco – a close friend of Sinatra – as having a “frightening” resemblance, while the Sinatra Estate said his voice was “too close for comfort”.

Buddy said: “David Alacey – well this guy really is Sinatra! It’s frightening.”

Accompanying him will be Des Coleman, as Sammy Davis Jr and Paul Drakeley as Dean Martin. Together, their TV credits as actors include Lovejoy, EastEnders and Inside Out.

Kenny Lynch, famous for Sixties hits such as Up on the Roof, will also be on hand to bring the magic of a lost age alive again.

The night will be a pseudo-homecoming – as his sister has lived in Corringham all her life.

The quartet will be joined on stage by a big band, showgirls and singer Anita Harris.
