Labour's MP candidate Polly Billington and the Shadow Minister for Universities dropped in on Palmer's College this week for a pre-election 'chat'.

The Shadow Minister for Universities, Skills and Science Rt Hon Liam Byrne MP met students and discussed their party’s plans for education if they win the General Election.

Mark Vinall, Principal of Palmer’s College said: “This visit was part of an extended visit to our area and it was a great opportunity for students to share their views on a wide range of issues."

Students and staff asked questions about the Labour party’s future plans to find out how these plans could affect them if Polly Billington wins the Thurrock MP seat and Labour win the general election.
