Sea cadet wins award
Thurrock Sea Cadets Leading Cadet Phillips was given an award for ‘biggest advancement over 2014’ by Mayor Steve Liddiard and MP Jackie Doyle-Price on Thursday.
He was presented with the award at the T.S. ‘Dragon’ annual carol service at St Clement Church in West Thurrock by Rotary President Iain Ramsey.
His prize included a five-day offshore training activity on yacht T.S. ‘Rebel’.
