OFFICERS in Grays investigating an assault at the Thurrock Fake Festival in July are appealing for witnesses.
The incident happened on Saturday July 26 at 11.30pm at the festival which was taking place on the Blackshots playing fields.
The victim was headbutted by a man, who also tried to punch him.
Shortly after security arrived a second man was verbally abusive to the victim and jumped on him, causing him to fall to the ground.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Charlotte Davis at Grays Police station on 101.
