A man has appeared in court charged with robbery, threatening a person with an offensive weapon and two counts of assault by beating.
Sam Evans, 25 of no fixed abode appeared at Basildon Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 22.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Friday, January 23 2015.
Police are appealing for the victim of one of the assaults to come forward. It took place at South Ockendon railway station on Sunday, October 19 at around 6pm and the victim left the scene before officers attended.
They are believed to have boarded a train towards Upminster.
