Good causes benefited from £378,000 cash handouts from Greenfields Community Housing last year.
The cash was divided between 25 groups and organisations, including £5,000 to the Red Balloon Learning Centre in Braintree to provide a mentoring service to children experiencing severe bullying issues in the Braintree district.
Another £50,000 went to Braintree Women’s Aid to provide extra support to children escaping domestic violence and £5,000 went to Kelvedon Institute Hall to provide insulation to the roof/ceiling of the Institute Hall.
