A MAN has been charged with assaulting a police officer in Maldon.
Essex Police have charged Ben Crispin, 30, of Hillside Road, Southminster, with various offences including burglary and assaulting a police officer.
He was also charged with two counts of criminal damage, driving without insurance, aggravated vehicle taking.
The charges relate to incidents which took place in Maldon on Sunday September 9.
Crispin is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
