FAMILIES took part in fun activities as a Great War aerodrome held a day for Dads.
The afternoon, in celebration of Father’s Day, featured several things to see and do at Stow Maries Aerodrome in Purleigh.
Rocketeer John Jacomb, who is part of the UK Space Modelling Team, was on site to test launch the rocket he is taking to the World Championships in Poland at the end of July.
Visitors also learned how to fly mini drones.
Larry Hudson from the Model Hovercraft Association was there displaying the hover raft he made himself.
Finally, there were the usual displays of old aircrafts as well as an open museum showing aviation history from the First World War.
