A MAN will face court after being charged with a string of offences in Colchester.
Lenice Murrain, 34, failed to stop for police on February 18.
An Essex Police spokesman said the man, of no fixed address, appeared in Colchester Magistrates' Court yesterday.
He has since been remanded in custody and will appear at Ipswich Crown Court on March 20. He did not enter a plea.
Acting upon information from a member of the public, officers found him parked in a vehicle on Old Ipswich Road, Colchester, at around 7.40pm on February 18.
The car drove away from officers, damaging a police car and two other vehicles in the process.
He has been charged with failing stop for police, dangerous driving and three counts of criminal damage.
