A MALDON-based barge which has a starring role in blockbuster movie Dunkirk has gone up for sale.
Thames barge Xylonite, which was moored at Hythe Quay, spent two weeks filming for the Hollywood epic last year.
The boat is now is being sold for £425,000.
Xylonite was bought by Tim Kent nearly six years ago.
The boat, which was built in 1926, was a cargo vessel and later a motor barge before being taking out of service in 1977.
It boasts a living room, fullyfitted galley, four bedrooms and a bathroom.
Xylonite is being sold by Riverhomes.
In June last year the ship sailed across to Dunkirk for two weeks of filming where the boat was used for a number of scenes and featured in the trailer.
