HUNDREDS of children and their parents flocked to a shopping centre for the chance to meet a children’s television star.
Mr Bloom, star of Mr Bloom’s Nursery on CBeebies was at Freeport Shopping Centre, Braintree, last Wednesday for a day of spring themed fun including crafts and activities for kids.
Jenny Beverly, marketing manager at Freeport, said “His two interactive shows proved a massive hit with the crowds, and the meet and greet competition winners really loved meeting him — with some telling us we’d made their dreams come true.
“The children also loved the real farm animals, and got through over 500 plant pots at the potting shed.
“We’re now looking forward to the summer holidays when our next events will be held in centre.”
