FESTIVE preparations are well underway for Headway Essex's three-day Christmas fayre.
The charity's event in Culver Square, Colchester, is set to include around 20 stalls each day as the town's Christmas countdown kicks off.
Highlights will also include choirs, familiar children's film characters and a santa's grotto on the Saturday and Sunday.
It is the third year the event has taken place and it will run between November 27 and 29 between 10am and 5pm.
Anna Smith, Headway community fundraising manager, said: "We raised over £3,500 from last year's event and that was when it was on for two days.
"It has been really popular each year and is growing.
"We have a wide variety of stalls from gifts to festive food and drink, so hopefully there will be something for everyone."
The event on Sunday coincides with the switch on of Colchester's Christmas lights.
Headway Essex supports people with acquired brain injury and their families, friends, and caregivers.
