A HEADTEACHER has reassured parents there will be a place for their children at his school after plans for a third Maldon district secondary school were unveiled.
The Standard revealed last week how Maldon District Council was looking at ways of funding a new secondary school in order to provide places for the children who will live in thousands of forthcoming new homes.
Carl Wakefield, headteacher of Plume School, said his school was around 85 per cent full and had plenty of room for new pupils in the short and medium term.
