Councillor Neil Pudney said the bid would create "another Burnham"
More than 50 residents packed out a council meeting to oppose plans to create “another Burnham”.
There was standing room only at Burnham Town Council’s offices as councillors debated a bid by Pigeon Land to build more than 200 homes on land between Chandlers and Creeksea Lane, on Maldon Road.
The town council opposed the application.
