A TV star hit all the right notes when he treated school pupils to a song-writing workshop followed by a private concert.
Barney Holmes, of BBC1's The Voice, dropped in to Gosfield School, in Halstead Road, Gosfield, to mentor a group of 12-15-year-olds.
The rapper was one half of the duo De 'Vide, who were mentored on the show by Jessie J two years ago.
He helped the pupils create a song and then perform it to an audience at the end of the day.
Fiona Cross, head of performing arts, said: “It has been an amazing and inspirational day for everybody involved.
“It has raised the profile of performing arts at Gosfield and, perhaps more importantly, given the students a fun yet thought-provoking start to what could be a new career."
