A WILDLIFE garden opens later this month as the two-week Easter holiday break gets under way.

The RSPB’s wildlife garden in Flatford opens for the year next Saturday.

Activities will include a spring wildlife challenge around the garden, planting spring flowers, badge making and bird spotting.

Youngsters will also be able to catch a glimpse of nesting blue tits and great tits as the RSPB turns on the nesting cameras.

Parents and other visitors will be able to pick up tips on how to make their garden more wildlife friendly.

Plants will also be on sale.

The garden will be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Parking is in the National Trust car park near East Bergholt and costs £3.50 for the day, or free for National Trust members
