Police discovered a cannabis factory after they raided a home in Bocking this morning.
Nine police officers broke into the two-bedroom house in Spencer Square at about 7.45am and discovered 50 cannabis plants in both of the upstairs bedrooms as well as extractor fans and lamps.
Nobody was in the house at the time and a search revealed nobody was living there.
The plants were described as being in the “drying” stage.
A 46-year-old man was arrested at about 8.30am in Alverton Close, Great Notley on suspicion of drugs offences.
He has been bailed until April 17.
