Ten teenagers have raised more than £1,000 for charity in honour of their school friend, who was diagnosed with bone cancer aged just 15.

Notley High School pupil Olivia Coughlan, of Black Notley, was given the shocking news in February that she had Osteosarcome - a cancerous bone tumour - in her pelvis.

The former White Notley Primary School pupil then underwent a 30-week course of debilitating chemotherapy and had her leg amputated last month, before finally receiving the result that she was cancer-free.

School friends Hannah Knock, Lauren Fisher, Scarlett Perrin, Lily Measures, Jodie Heather, Bree Lewington, Erica Scotchbrook, Keerthy Vijendran, Lucy Upton and Jemilla Salmon, have since organised a charity quiz night on her behalf.
